Step 5- Post Inspection
At this point we will walk the areas again and do any necessary finishing touches necessary. Please walk through your home or business to inspect our work.
Step 6- Scotchgard
If you decided you wanted to re-Scotchgard your carpets, we will do it at this time. We apply the Scotchgard and rake it in to ensure a deep, thorough and even application. This step is important to help combat future staining so talk to your technician to decide if it is something you feel you need.
After your carpet is cleaned....
Be careful walking from carpet to hard surface. Stepping from carpet to tile or wood will be slippery. Keep pets and children off of carpets until it is dry. This can take 4-6 hours, on average, dependent upon how deep of a clean we did and if we applied Scotchgard.
Here at Spot Pros we follow a process to ensure that you are getting the best clean possible. We use heat and agitation to get a deeper clean. Before Your Carpet Cleaning
Please remove breakables and items that you may be concerned about being damaged from the areas we will be cleaning. Remove all small items such as boxes, magazines, shoes, etc. in the areas to be cleaned. Move small furniture, waste baskets, hampers, etc that are in the areas you want cleaned. If there is a lot of pet hair or heavy debris on the carpets, you may want to do a quick vacuum before we arrive. Also, arrange for pets and children to be away from the area where we are cleaning.
Step 1- Pre-Inspection
Every great carpet cleaning experience starts with a proper pre-inspection. Our service technician will inspect your particular areas of concern as well as noting carpet construction and soiling conditions. He will also advise you of any possible permanent staining. He will evaluate your individual needs and create a plan with you to combat any concerns you may have.
Step 2- Pre-Spray
This step will be done differently depending on your individual needs. Your carpet will be pre-sprayed with different products depending on your areas of concern. If you have pet problems, our technician will use a urine contamination treatment to help neutralize odor and get out the stains associated with pet urine. If you have heavy traffic lanes, we will use a pre-treatment specially formulated to pull up deep down soilage.
Step 3- Scrubbing (We don't just Splash & Dash you like most of our competitors, Stains can't Handle Our Power scrub)
If necessary, the technician will scrub your carpet. Agitation helps to loosen all of the soilage to prepare it for extraction. This is similar to how a washing machine agitates to remove heavier soilage and stains from your clothing. This Process breaks up the toughest stains. Ideal for Heavy staining or Dark Traffic lanes.
